About Me

Hi, I’m Belinda. I write emotional love stories with complicated people, difficult choices, and guaranteed happy endings.

My characters usually arrive already carrying something. A bad breakup, a family that never quite worked, a version of themselves they gave up on years ago. I like writing them at the point where they’re not really looking for love, because they’ve got enough going on already.

What interests me is the mess in between. How do you let someone in when you’ve spent years getting good at not needing anyone? What does it actually look like when a person sees the thing you’ve been hiding and doesn’t flinch?

I don’t write easy books. There’s grief in most of them, and characters who make choices you’ll want to argue with. But I always know where they end up: together, and better than where they started. That part isn’t negotiable for me.

If you’ve cried reading one of my books, that was probably the plan.

A little about me

💗 I constantly long for the ocean and dream of living there someday.

💗 When I was little, I wanted to be a princess. And that wasn’t just a dream. I had a plan.

💗 I love plants, although the plants would probably prefer someone with a greener thumb.

💗 Creativity has always taken up a lot of space in my life. I play guitar, piano and violin, design my own book covers, and love photography.

💗 And I’m scared of balls flying towards me. There really isn’t a deeper story behind that one.

💗 Every time I finish a book, I feel like I’ve left a small part of myself between the lines. So if you’ve read one of them — or you’re about to — thank you for letting that little part of me find its way to you.
